Dealing With A Sociopath
There are people that come to suspect that those they love or even work with may have sociopathic tendencies. There are certain traits that can be an obvious telltale sign, such as an exaggerated sense of self, lack of empathy or remorse and a very persuasive and manipulative nature. Some of these traits may indeed indicate a sociopath, or just a really unpleasant person to be around. Short of compelling them to undergo, it is advisable to try and take note of as many of their character traits as you can, while being unobtrusive. When you are reasonably certain you are dealing with a sociopath, then you can decide what approach to take when dealing with them. There are varying degrees of sociopathy and if you are lucky, the indicators will be minimal.
If the indicators are very strong, it is best to cut all ties with this person. Unless they seek help on their own, chances are you will fall victim to their manipulative ways. If the person has not become too close to as yet, it is advisable to stop taking their calls or accepting visits from them. If they do not get the message, come up with a vague excuse of not seeing them. You can state you are having personal problems and you do not want them involved. Tell them to give you space to sought out yourself and leave it at that. gay-test.org, sociopathtest.net
